Spring Fever Part 2

Anna Sui is one of my favorite and first designers I go to check out when the a new season hits. She loves prints, and her classic combination of dresses and boots never seem to look old. This Spring she also uses a neutral palette and is still just as interesting and feminine.

J. Crew has become the darling of accessible fashion since our first lady Michelle Obama and her equally fashionable daughters started wearing their clothes and mixing them with higher lines. The clothing store itself has revamped into the "It" girls closet  and has become a great got to for updated basics. They may have single handedly brought the cardigan back into fashion. Here is just a portion of their palette that caught my interest. Do you think I can wear those sequined shorts to the beach?

I love Roberto Cavalli for his Rock 'n Roll drama. These clothes were made for the stage, a hot party, or queen of the desert.

Just Cavalli and John Galliano were coming down with jungle fever!

There was a huge trend in graphics and color blocking.

I'm a sucker for tie-dye, tribal prints and fab jewelry.

My favorite store

I can't lie. I will spend my gas money on something I want at Anthropologie. I feel that it's an investment in my nesting future and it's a fabulous one. Since I haven't had time to jet across the globe searching for one of a kind treasures in my travels, I shop locally.

Here are this weeks desires. My wish list on the wesite is waaaay too long to list here so I will give it up in spurts.

Spindle bead napkin rings

Perched and Patterned Mugs

Parc De La Pepiniers Journals

Kaarina bedding

Sari throw

Great Southern Butterfly towels

Celestial coasters

Flame Leaf bowl

Heirloom throw

Flamenco shower curtain

Guess who's coming to dinner?

I looove this! Can't beat yellow and green for a fresh look every time.
Dinnerware and table linens are another weakness of mine which is why I am working on my own line of table linens.

So romantic

Celedon green is the star here. Simple sophisticated arrangements make this work.

Love the jewel tones and the plate mixing. My favorite thing to do.

OMG! I hope there are 11 courses at these tables. I would never want to leave!  More is more for a layered exotic look.

Carolyn Roehm is the queen of tabletop in my eyes. She always amazes me with her beautiful color combinations in floral and china selections. Her arrangements are usually simple and sophisticated and leaves the pizzazz to the rest. Her attention to detail is always makes a photo finish. All of her books are amazing, but check out the Notebook Series. Your sure to get plenty of ideas.

I can see the possibilities now!

I love these retro plates. My mom has a set of the top right ones. I might have to steal them from her soon.
Here are some fab choices from Anthropologie
